A Simple Sinners Prayer

If you do not know Jesus as your personal Savior, please follow these 6 steps:

1) [Acknowledge] -- (Romans 3:23) For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

2) [Repent] -- (Luke 13:3) I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

3) [Confess] --   (1John 1:9) If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

4) [Forsake] -- (Isaiah 55:7) Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.

5) [Believe] -- (John 3:16) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

6) [Receive] -- (John 1:11) He came unto his own, and his own received him not.  (John 1:12) But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:

If you made a decision to follow Jesus you will need to plug into a good Bible believing Church. A Bible believing Church is one that believes in the truth of the Bible and practices the teachings of Jesus in our daily walk. Remember, having a personal relationship with Jesus means you will need to spend time with Him in prayer and regular Bible reading.

(Hebrews 10:25) Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. (i.e. The Second Coming of Jesus)

You will need help in your walk with Jesus and that is what the Church is for, to help us make our walk with God more fruitful and enjoyable.

If you need help finding a good Bible believing church let me suggest one that I decided to become a member of and here is my reason for doing so.

Devider Line

We are separated from God because of Sin. Jesus is the bridge that allows us to once again have fellowship with God.

Remember, the Bible describes Sin as:

(1 John 3:4) Whosoever committeth sin
transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

Distilled down, Sin is really manifested as selfishness, or self before others, even God.

(John 14:6)
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

(John 11:25) Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live

(John 11:26) And whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?

(1 Thessalonians 4:13) But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.

(1 Thessalonians 4:14) For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.

(Acts 4:8) Then Peter, filled with the Holy Ghost, said unto them, Ye rulers of the people, and elders of Israel,

(Acts 4:9) If we this day be examined of the good deed done to the impotent man, by what means he is made whole;

(Acts 4:10) Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole.
